Emily was raised in Santo Domingo alongside her two sisters named Gaby and Karla by their father Jose Ramon Attias and their mother Emilia Tosta. Emily became interested in singing, dancing, and acting at the age of six, and was around the same time noticed by the local media after she was featured in the “A La Moda” magazine.

She was eight when she launched her acting career by appearing in “The Pied Piper of Hamelin” musical, and then went on to take acting and singing classes winning her next role in “Annie: The Musical” next year. By the time she turned 12, Emily had appeared in musicals such as “Alice in Wonderland”, “A Christmas Adventure in Broadway”, and “The Miracle of Fatima” among others.

Career as an actress and other business ventures

She continued her acting career starring in Latin TV series and shows such as “Navidad Espectacular”, “Noche de Luz”, and “Sabado Chiquito de Corporan” among others while she was still in Dominican Republic.
