Life and Career
Following the completion of her education, Jessica pursued a career as a model, and did brand work for some time. She signed a contract with M Model Management but her modeling career really didn’t take off, so she tried other jobs, including being a cocktail waitress – this was around the time that she met Joe Rogan. Afterwards, she worked as a management assistant at the company Enterprise Rent-A-Car based in Missouri. Aside from its main renting services, she was also involved in commercial truck operations, car sales, and fleet management.
She then worked at Volvo Motorsports, in a product analyst position for the international manufacturing company originating in Sweden. The company specializes in the sales of large vehicles and construction equipment, and is now owned by the Geely Holding Group, after being sold in 2010 by the Ford Motor Company. She eventually left her job to serve in the California-based finance firm called Robert Half International, as a member of the company’s technology division, specializing in staffing, audit services, and risk consultation.

Joe is of Irish and Italian descent. He grew up in New Jersey, and had a troubled childhood as his father was abusive. He moved around, living in places such as San Francisco, California, and Gainesville, Florida, before settling in Newton Upper Falls Massachusetts. He attended Newton South High School, and after matriculating, enrolled at the University of Massachusetts, Boston but didn’t like college studies, resulting in him dropping out.
At around this time, he became very interested in martial arts, and initially took up karate before switching to taekwondo. He competed in a few tournaments, leading to him becoming the state champion. His first job was as a taekwondo instructor, and he considered a career in kickboxing, but then went in a completely different direction, when thanks to his parents, he discovered stand-up comedy.
In 1988, he had his first performance in a Boston comedy club, but since stand-up was a difficult job to break into, he continued his martial arts teaching work, while also doing other odd jobs. He started gaining a few gigs, but in 1994 decided to move to Los Angeles.
Joe Rogan’s Success
After work with MTV, Rogan signed a development contract with Disney, leading to a bit of acting work in projects such as “Hardball” and “NewsRadio”, in which he had the starring role as electrician Joe Garrelli.
He eventually left acting work, as he did not enjoy playing a single character every week. He rekindled his interest in martial arts after watching a UFC fight, leading him to begin working with the promotion as an interviewer.
He started leading Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu while working, becoming a black belt after years of training. He continued working on both UFC and his comedy, releasing his first comedy special in 2000.

The following year, he put his comedy career on hold as he was offered a contract to become the host of the show “Fear Factor” which helped in building his popularity and net worth further. He stayed with the show for its entire run through 2006, then returned to comedy work.
One of his latest projects is the podcast called “The Joe Rogan Experience”. He hosts the show alongside comedian Brian Redban, and since its inception, it has become one of the most popular podcasts in the world, regularly attracting millions to each episode.
In the 1990s, Jessica was in a relationship with a man named Kevin “Dino” Conner, who at the time was the lead singer of the band called H-Town. They had a daughter together, but broke-up in 1998 after she discovered he was cheating on her. After separating, Dino stayed with his new lady, and the two passed away in a car accident in 2003. Jessica, on the other hand, met Joe while she was working as a cocktail waitress.
They started a relationship and had a child together before marrying in 2010. They now have two children together, and her child from the previous relationship was adopted by Joe. The family resides in Bell Canyon, California.
