Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again
“Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” is the sequel of the renowned comedy musical entitled “Mamma Mia!”. Both movies follow the story of a young woman named Sophie, as she tries to discover the identity of her real dad. The plot gets more complicated when she discovers that her mother Donna slept with three different men over a short period of time, and any of them could be her father. The sequel presents young Bill, portrayed by Dylan, in a series of flashbacks that follow the time when Sophie was conceived.
Josh’s character is an adventurer and writer, who originally falls in love with Donna’s best friend, but has a romantic relationship with her after all. According to the musical of the same name made in 1975, Bill was Australian, but his nationality was switched to Swedish in the movies, and played by Stellan Skarsgård. Many details in the movie suggested that Bill fathered Sophie, although the truth hasn’t been revealed.
More recently, Josh has appeared as Jude McGregor in the British TV series “Noughts and Crosses” (2020-2022), and as Lord Richard Marable in another British series “The Buccaneers” in 2023.
