Early Life and Modelling Career

There is very limited information regarding Anastasia’s life before her rise to fame, with very few details shared about her family and education. It is known that she grew up in Moscow, and at 10 years of age started gaining modelling opportunities, leading her to become one of the most in-demand child models not just in Russian but around the rest of Europe. One of the brands she worked for is Benetton which is an international fashion brand originating from Italy, and has been running since the 1960s.

They have over 5,000 stores around the world with brands such as Colors of Benetton and Sisley. She’s also worked with the Italian-based brand Pinko, founded by Pietro Negra, origins of the notion suggest that pink is associated with red. The term itself has connotations with communism, though it is not known if the brand also represents those values. Another brand she’s worked for is the Italian luxury brand Moschino, which specializes in leather accessories, including shoes and luggage, plus fragrances; it was founded in 1983 by Franco Moschino.

The magazine is known to cover topics such as lifestyle, culture, beauty, fashion, and catwalk. It was established in 1892 in the US and is a monthly publication with 23 international editions.

Transition to Acting

In 2016, she had her first acting opportunity, being given the lead role for the Russian film also known as “The Milky Way’.

The comedy is directed by Anna Matison and follows the story of a family experiencing difficulties, with the parents wanting to have a divorce. The film helped open doors for Anastasia in acting, and she then joined the cast of another Matison film entitled “After You’re Gone”, which aired the following year. The comedy-drama film follows the story of a ballet dancer who has dedicated his whole life to the craft, travelling around the world and being labelled a genius. However, he suffered a serious spinal injury which stopped his career.

Recent Projects

Developing her career in the entertainment industry, Anastasia has been taking professional lessons. For her role in “After You’re Gone”, she took dance lessons from known choreographer Radu Poklitaru; he is known for being the artistic manager of the Kyiv Modern Ballet, and one of the judges for “Everybody Dance!” He was previously a ballet dancer before transitioning to a background role. Anastasia also took up acting lessons in Moscow, particularly as a part of the Bolshoi Theatre. Their ballet and opera group is among the oldest and most renowned companies in the world.

During her role in her latest film, she played the daughter of a retired ballet dancer who is facing a progressive illness. The role was written with her in mind, but they didn’t prepare for her dedication towards the role, as she trained in rhythmic gymnastics so that she would no longer require a stunt double. Another project Anastasia worked on is a music video entitled “Sleeplessness” in early 2019, since when there have been no new reported projects for her, though it is expected that she will continue her career as she is still young with many years ahead of her.
