Alanna Noel Ubach was born in Downey, California, under the Libra zodiac sign on 3 October 1975, which makes her 48 years old as of 2023. In 1992, Ubach was cast to star as Josie in the educational children’s program “Beakman’s World.” Her two-year stint in the show brought her to public attention., then in 1994, Ubach was commended by “The New York Times” for her portrayal of a Jewish girl in the play “Kindertransport,” which was performed at the Manhattan Theater Club. She appeared in various films in the mid- to late-‘90s, including the 1997 comedy-drama “Clockwatchers” and the 1999 drama “The Starling Case.” She also appeared in an episode or two of numerous TV series, including the CBS fantasy drama “Touched by an Angel.”


2001 saw Ubach play Serena McGuire in the romantic comedy “Legally Blonde”, a role she reprised in the second installment of the film, which was released in 2003. In 2002 and 2003, Ubach was cast in the animated series “Teamo Supremo” and “Ozzy & Drix.” Ubach was later cast in the 2004 Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro-starred comedy “Meet the Fockers,” in which she dyed her hair gray and put on a fat suit to perfectly portray the 40-year-old character, Isabel Villalobos. From 2010 to 2013, Ubach voiced various characters including Kugel and Strudel in the animated children’s TV series “Pound Puppies” – her performance in the series saw her nominated for a joint BTVA Television Voice Acting Award for Best Vocal Ensemble in a Television Series in 2014. In 2011, she voiced several characters in the Academy Award-nominated computer-animated Western film “Rango,” which starred the voices of Isla Fisher and Johnny Depp.

After lending her voice in the 2012 animated series “Kaijudo,” Ubach was cast as Amy Hobbs in the Nick at Nite TV sitcom, “See Dad Run” (2012-2015), which starred its executive producer, Scott Baio.
