Who is Ned Fulmer?
American YouTuber Edward Gallo ‘Ned’ Fulmer was born in Jacksonville, Florida USA, on 11 June 1987, making Gemini his zodiac sign. He’s probably known best for having been a member of the American online entertainment group and media production The Try Guys, who have become popular thanks to their YouTube channel, which is today subscribed to by over eight million people; Ned was fired in September 2022 because he had cheated on his wife Ariel with Alexandria Herring, an employee of The Try Guys.
Education and early life
Ned and his sister Grace were raised in Jacksonville by their parents of Italian descent, however, because his family prefers to stay away from media, Ned’s yet to speak about them in public.
He was interested in a number of activities while attending a local high school in Jacksonville, mostly into acting with the school’s drama club, dancing and playing soccer. Upon matriculating in 2005, Ned enrolled at Yale University, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 2009.
Prior to launching his career on the internet, Ned worked at a chemistry lab.

Ned was one of the founding members of the YouTube channel “The Try Guys”, together with Eugene Lee Yang, Zach Kornfeld and Keith Habersberger. The channel was launched on 23 May 2018, and today numbers close to 2.5 billion views of all their videos combined, most of which are of comedy content; these friends often pull pranks on each other, give gifts to one another, and take on various popular internet challenges. We’re going to mention their top three videos, which’ve contributed to their popularity.
Their #1 video “The Try Guys Get Their Bones Cracked” has been watched over 26 million times since 1 December 2018, and features Dr. Mary Trumpi cracking and popping their joints to relieve stress and pain.
Their second most popular video “The Try Guys Baking a Pie With No Recipe” has been watched close to 23 million times since 15 December 2018, and features them as they’re competing in baking a pie without a recipe.
Their #3 video “The Try Guys 400 Dumpling Mukbang” has been watched over 21 million times since 6 February 2019, and features them eating 400 dumplings.
Ned was officially removed from The Try Guys on 27 September 2022, and was then edited out of some of their most recent videos.
His original YouTube channel
Ned launched his self-titled YouTube channel on 2 May 2009; it’s today subscribed to by nearly 350,000 people, and numbers more than 13 million views of all his nine videos combined. Some of his fans have criticized him for his featured video still being his wife surprising him with her pregnancy. We’re going to write about Ned’s three most viewed YouTube videos, as these have helped him become popular on the network.
His #1 video “Surprise Pregnancy Announcement • Ned & Ariel” has been watched over 4.5 million times since 18 February 2018, and features Ariel telling Ned that she’s pregnant.
His second most popular video “We Had A Baby • Ned & Ariel” has been watched over 2.6 million times since 4 June 2018, and features Ned and Ariel speaking about the birth of their son Wes Fulmer, and how he was born a week prematurely.
Ned’s third most popular video “Surprise Pregnancy Announcement To Wes • Ned & Ariel” has been watched more than 2.6 million times since 2 August 2020, and features Ned and Ariel telling their son that he’s going to become a brother.
Ned hasn’t uploaded any videos onto his channel since 16 August 2020.
Ned’s active on various social media networks, and regardless of the controversy surrounding his infidelity, is still followed by over a million people on Instagram; he’s uploaded nearly 1,400 pictures and videos, while most of these show him during his everyday life. His most recent update was a picture on 27 September 2022, in which he apologized to everyone for what had happened, and stated that he was going to focus on his family.

He launched his Twitter account in June 2009, and there are today more than 300,000 people following him, while he’s tweeted over 4,000 times; his most recent tweet was the same above-mentioned picture in which he’s apologizing.
Nearly 400,000 people are following Ned on Facebook today, and his most recent post was the same above-mentioned picture on 27 September 2022.
Ned’s followed by nearly 500,000 people on TikTok, and all of his videos together have amassed more than eight million likes; most feature him spending time with his children.
Love life and marriage
Ned and American fashion designer Ariel Fulmer (nee VandeVoorde) haven’t spoken about how and when they met, but it’s believed that they began dating in 2010; Ariel’s today the owner of her own styling company Fig + Stone Designs, and is also a cookbook author and podcast host.
The two exchanged vows in a small and private ceremony in 2012, attended by their closest friends and family members; Ariel gave birth to their son Wesley James ‘Wes’ Fulmer in 2018, and their second son Finley ‘Finn’ Fulmer followed in 2020.
What upset Ned’s fans the most after it was revealed that he’d cheated on his wife was the fact that a big part of his brand image was based on his obsession with his wife; the two had also published a cookbook together.
It remains unknown whether or not Ariel has filed for divorce; Ned’s still married to Ariel as of June 2023, and they have two sons together.

Ned has a phobia of dogs, developed from when a Dobermann jumped on his stroller when he was still a baby. He’s still trying to fight the phobia, as he’s adopted a labradoodle Bean.

Ned’s a huge fan of baseball, and cheers for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB).
One of his favorite actors is Ben Affleck, and some of his favorite movies include “The Accountant”, “The Batman” and “Armageddon”.
