Scott was born into an Italian family – his mother Rose was a housewife while his father, Mario Baio has served as his manager throughout his acting career. Scott attended the Xaverian High school in Brooklyn, and after matriculation didn’t enroll at college, but pursued his dreams of becoming a popular actor. Scott became famous at the age of 16 when he won the role of Bugsy Malone, and around the same time, he was cast to play Chachi Arcola in the “Happy Days” sitcom, which made him even more popular, and won him his first Emmy Award nomination. In 1982, he was cast to appear in the “Eight is Enough” ABC series, and in the “Zapped!” movie which became quite popular in the US.

He went on to appear in numerous TV series and movies during the ‘90s, including the “Perry Mason and the Case of the Fatal Fashion” film shot in 1991, while he also played Dr. Jack Stewart in the “Diagnosis: Murder” TV series from 1993 to 1995. In 2000, he won a role in the “Very Mean Men”, movie, and then in “Face to Face” and “The Bread, My Sweet” movies shot in 2001. Scott wasn’t taking any breaks from his acting career as he continued winning roles – in 2004, he was cast to appear in the “Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2” movie and then played himself in the “Cursed” movie shot in 2005. Scott’s last role was as Foop, in the “A Fairly Odd Summer” movie shot in 2014.

It was June 2015 when Renee started complaining about a pain in her head, and was diagnosed with a meningioma brain tumor. Luckily for her, the tumor seemed not to be harmful and it was therefore not treated – in October 2017, Renee was diagnosed with a microvascular brain disease, then on 10 March 2018, another meningioma brain tumor was discovered. However, none of this seems to be very harmful to her health, and she is still focused on her career and marriage.
