Career Beginnings
Prior to becoming an actress, Miya started her modeling career as a four-year-old girl, while her professional acting career started in 2015. She made her debut television appearance guest-starring as the younger version of Kono Kalakaua in the episode “Mo’o ‘olelo Pu” of the CBS action police procedural series “Hawaii Five-0”, created by Leonard Freeman. During the same year, she guest-starred in two small roles, an ice cream kid in an episode of the Nickelodeon comedy series “The Thundermans”, and a little girl in an episode of the Prime Video drama series “Hand Of God”.
