Jamie Erdahl was born on the 3rd December 1988, in Bloomington, Minnesota, USA; she grew up in her hometown, raised by her parents, mother Chris, and father, Jim. Jamie went to Breck School, from which she matriculated in 2007, then enrolled at St. Olaf College, where she also played basketball.
However, she would transfer to American University after two years, where she studied broadcasting and communications, and eventually graduated in 2011.
Career
While at the university, Jamie was already building her career as she hosted several shows, one of which was “Eye in the Eagle” about men’s basketball and the university’s team, aired on Comcast SportsNet Washington.
It was in October 2012 that Jamie was hired by NESN. She was named the newest addition to the anchor-reporter team, and one of her many tasks was serving as the fill-in sideline reporter for Jenny Dell. She covered the Boston Red Sox baseball team and their efforts during the 2012 season. The following year, NESN made Jamie the Boston Bruins rinkside reporter, and in addition the host of NESN’s 30-minute live news shows.

Thanks to her hard work, Jamie was noticed by other networks, and later in 2014 she was recruited by CBS Sports, becoming the new studio host, contributing to several shows on the channel.
