Abby Ham was born in Memphis, Tennessee USA, on 3 September 1980, so under the zodiac sign of Virgo, and holding American nationality. She came under the spotlight after beginning to work as an anchor for the WBIR TV station in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Childhood and education
Abby had a rather rough childhood, as her parents moved around the US before they finally settled down in Tucson, Arizona – she is very respectful of her mother and father’s privacy and can rarely be heard talking about them. Abby has more than a single sibling, but doesn’t usually mention them in public.
She began watching female reporters on TV at the age of seven, and was steadily drawn to the career of a reporter – she was not the only person in elementary with this dream, but she believed in herself and eventually made her dream come true. She studied at a local high school in Tucson, and although her parents moved to live in Tennessee, she stayed to enrol at the University of Arizona, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.
Abby’s career as a reporter
Abby’s career was officially launched in 2002, when she began working for the WTAP TV station (NBC affiliated) in Ohio as their reporter – as the station was very small, Abby was able to work in several fields, and the job helped her gain a lot of knowledge and experience. Thanks to her great skills, she was rewarded with several Associated Press Awards.
She was part of the WTAP team for two years before moving to Knoxville, Tennessee where she worked for the WBIR 10 “News Today” as their anchor and a reporter, eventually being promoted to their morning anchor.
The year 2007 saw her leave WBIR and start working for WKYC Channel 3 in Cleveland, but missing Tennessee, Abby left the station in 2009 and returned to the same station. She has been part of their team ever since, and is currently serving as their morning anchor.
Abby was a bit of a YouTuber in the past as well. She launched her channel on 4 April 2016 and there are currently more than 1,100 people subscribed to it, while it also counts more than 70,000 views of all her 12 videos combined, mostly relating to dieting and exercising. Her last video entitled “Such sweet kisses!!!” was uploaded on 3 June 2016.

Abby and Herby Lambert have been together for more than 14 years now, and they seem to be leading a happy life together. The two first met in August 2005 in a bar – Herby approached Abby and offered to buy her a drink which Abby refused at first, but as Herby was persistent and had a nice sense of humor, she eventually accepted. They began dating just a couple of days later, and two years after that exchanged their wedding vows in March 2007 – Herby is involved in selling beer and other alcoholic beverages, and has been very supportive of Abby’s career throughout the years as he has moved with her whenever her work demanded it.
In September 2014, Abby gave birth to their son Hatcher Ham Lambert – she and Herby seemed to have agreed not to have more children as they both want to focus on their careers (Abby the most). Although there are rumors circulating the internet about a couple of other men Abby has been with before Herby, she hasn’t commented on them, and therefore nothing about her love life before Herby can be claimed with certainty.
Several rumors emerged on the internet about the popular reporter divorcing her husband sometime in 2018, but these quickly turned out to be false.
Hobbies and interests
Abby’s job as a reporter doesn’t leave her with much free time but she still manages to do the things which help her relax and have a good time.
While she is not much of a drinker, Abby is always up for a glass of wine which is her favorite drink among all liquids – she is also very fond of drinking coffee, and cannot imagine a day without having a cup (glass) of both of these beverages. She likes doing make-up, and once stated how she would have launched a career as a make-up artist if she hasn’t got into journalism – her favorite part of doing make-up is working on eyelashes.
While she wasn’t really enjoying moving often with her family while she was a kid, she has since fallen in love with travelling – she has visited several European countries with her husband, but hasn’t so far been to Africa or Asia.

The University of Tennessee Athletic Department is requiring a large donation from ticket holders for all sports in order keep their seats for football, basketball soft ball, baseball, etc. Why has this not been covered in the news? This new policy is very unfair and discriminatory. Please publicize and look into this unprecedented and terrible policy.
