Claire Robinson (Food Network star) Wiki Bio

Claire was born in Jacksonville, Florida USA on 1 January 1978, so she holds American nationality. She is popular for her culinary skills, especially for hosting the “5 Ingredient Fix” Food Network’s show.

Childhood and education

Claire’s father was a man who had to move a lot due to his work, so Claire got a chance to live in several places during her childhood – she was born in Jacksonville, then moved to St. Augustine, Florida, from there to Houston, then New Orleans, and eventually Memphis, Tennessee. As she hasn’t talked about her siblings, Claire is believed to be an only child.

Claire has always been a big fan of the TV industry. She would watch all the shows on TV with her parents, and decided to one day make herself a career in the TV industry as well. She matriculated from a local high school in Memphis, and then enrolled at the University of Memphis, from which she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications in 1999.

Career of a TV personality

While she was still studying, Claire began working at Maggie’s Pharm – it was here that she learned how to use all the spices and herbs for cooking and instantly fell in love with it. She still uses the tips and tricks she learned at Maggie’s Pharm today, in her shows.

As soon as she graduated from college, Claire won a job at the WREG-TV network which is an affiliate station of the Memphis CBS, and was simultaneously working for WMC-FM radio. She also spent time working for the Tiger Sports Properties, but such jobs were never really her thing.

Although she was satisfied with how her career was progressing, Claire wanted to go back to her main passion of cooking – she decided to move to New York City, and enrolled at the French Culinary Institute where she further improved her cooking skills.

After graduating in 2005, she began working for a restaurant as a chef, and then launched her career of a chef on TV – she began with hosting the “Easy Entertaining With Michael Chiarello” Food Network’s series, and afterwards moved to “Everyday Baking for Everyday Food”, which helped her gain recognition around the US.

Claire is currently hosting Food Network’s “5 Ingredient Fix” culinary show.

Love life and husband

Claire is very secretive when it comes to her love life, as she’s shared very little regarding the men she might have dated throughout the years.

Rumors began circulating the internet that the popular chef was married, but Claire addressed the rumors on 19 August 2011 stating that she was single and was not looking for love. However, as the years went by, she married a man named Bailey Robinson and occasionally mentions him during her culinary show. Another rumor claimed that the two divorced in 2017 but it turned out to be false after Claire made a romantic dinner for the two of them for their anniversary in the same year.

Claire hasn’t talked about anyone else she might have dated before Bailey, and she appears to be still married to him, while the two have no kids together – they are both focused on their careers and are not planning on having any anytime soon.

Hobbies and interests

Claire is a very passionate chef who knows a lot about food, but there are still numerous other things she is interested in doing.

Claire loves participating in extreme sports, and will take on whatever can get her adrenaline up – she has done skydiving numerous times already and is an avid boxer. She has been taking boxing classes since she was a teenager, but has never competed professionally as she only does it for recreation (and for learning self-defense). She is also very fond of summer sports, with slalom waterskiing being her favorite, while she also enjoys playing beach soccer and volleyball.

She is a big lover of animals but doesn’t have any pets as she doesn’t have enough time for them – she has stated that once she gives birth, she would like to have her child grow up with a dog, as this will make him/her mentally healthier. Claire enjoyed travelling in the past, but has now settled in New York City and likes the life she has there.

Appearance and net worth

Claire is currently around 41 years old. She has long brown hair and brown eyes, while her height and weight are not known.

According to authoritative sources, Claire’s current net worth is estimated to be more than $400,000, and is steadily rising thanks to her job of a TV personality and a chef.

Social media presence

Although one would have expected Claire to be active on several popular social media networks, she doesn’t seem to have an account on Instagram, which is considered to be the most popular platform of today. She does have a Twitter account which she launched in May 2009, and has gathered more than 13,000 followers and tweeted nearly 1,800 times. She is active on Facebook as well, and her page is currently followed by nearly 30,000 people – she was also running her own website, but it appears that she has recently taken it down.
