Who is Spencer Breslin?
A musician and actor with over 45 acting credits to his name, Spencer Breslin rose to prominence as Conrad in the family comedy “The Cat in the Hat”, also starring Mike Myers and Dakota Fanning, which had 22 award nominations and seven wins. Born under the zodiac sign of Taurus on 18 May 1992, Spencer Breslin recently celebrated his 31st birthday. He’s a native of New York City USA, holds American nationality, and comes from a family of Irish, English and Australian-Jewish descent, Raised by his parents Kim, a talent manager, and Michael, a telecommunications consultant, alongside his two siblings, Ryan and Abigail, who is also an actress; she’s probably still known best for her role as Olive in the 2006 movie “Little Miss Sunshine”.
When it comes to Spencer’s educational background, he was homeschooled by his mother, then didn’t go to college but pursued his acting career, which actually began back in his early days when he was just three years old. From 2004 through 2005, Spencer played Miles Barnett in the series “Center of Universe”, in which he starred opposite John Goodman and Jean Smart.

Roles in movies
Spencer made his big-screen debut as Rusty Duritz in the 2000 family comedy “The Kid”, starring opposite Bruce Willis and Emily Mortimer, and his performance in the movie brought Spencer the Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Feature Film-Young Actor Age Ten or Under, and he was also nominated for the Saturn Award – Best Performance by a Younger Actor. Later that year, he was seen as a Little Boy in the comedy “Meet the Parents”.
Two years later, Spencer was heard as Cubby in the animated movie “Return to Never Land”, which brought him a nomination for the Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Voice-Over Role. Later in 2002, he followed with his role as Curtis in “The Santa Clause 2”, which ‘earned’ him The Stinkers Bad Movie Award for Worst Performance by a Child.
In 2003, Spencer was cast to play Conrad in “The Cat in the Hat”, which also brought him The Stinkers Bad Movie Award for Worst Performance by a Child, however, this is his most recognizable role, to date. Spencer was next seen as Henry Davis in the 2004 movie “Raising Helen”, also starring Kate Hudson and Joan Cusack, which followed the story of an aunt who becomes the guardian of three children after their parents died in a car accident.
Spencer followed with his roles in “The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement” (2004), “The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause” (2006), and “The Happening” (2008), among others. He was heard as Anthony in the 2010 science-fiction adventure “Quantum Quest: A Cassini Space Odyssey”, also starring Samuel L. Jackson and Chris Pine.
Spencer was next cast to play Jason in the 2012 romantic drama “Stuck in Love”, written and directed by Josh Boone, which won the US Motion Picture Alliance Award for Best Feature. Spencer then played Cousin Derek in the crime drama “Perfect Sisters”, which also starred his sister Abigail, Georgie Henley and Mira Sorvino. The movie followed the story of two sisters who becoming tired of their mother’s alcoholism, decide to kill her.
Spencer was next seen in “Some Kind of Hate” (2015), and the short movies “External Forces” (2018), and “Wickenburg” in 2019. After several years of struggle, Spencer landed the role of Blain in the 2022 crime comedy “Murder, Anyone?” and his performance in the movie earned him numerous accolades and praise, including winning the Hollywood Blood Horror Festival October Award for Best Supporting Actor and the Vegas Movie Award of Excellence-Best Actor.
His fans will be happy to hear that Spencer has five upcoming projects and one of the movies he has completed, entitled “Desert Fiends”, is set to premiere by the end of 2023.
Music career
Spencer released his debut album, “Labor Day”, in 2012. although the recording was finished in 2009, when Spencer founded his own record label, called Acadian Recording Company. Subsequently, he founded an indie folk-punk band, Broken Machine, and he writes all the lyrics and the music that the band plays.
Love life and relationships
Spencer is one of those celebrities who like to keep their private life secret. This doesn’t mean that he hasn’t been the subject of various rumors concerning his love life, and even his sexuality has been questioned.
However, it is widely known that in 2017, Spencer married Grace Tame, an Australian activist and advocate for survivors of sexual assault, who was named Australian of the Year in 2021. Grace was groomed and sexually abused by 58-year-old teacher, Nicolaas Bester when she was 15 years old.
Spencer and Grace divorced, and the reason and the time of their separation haven’t been disclosed, but later was revealed that since 2020, Grace has been in a relationship with Max Heerey, who is now her fiancée.
As of July 2023, it seems that Spencer is single.
