Who is Weston Cage?

American actor and singer Weston Coppola Cage was born in Los Angeles, California USA on 26 December 1990, making Capricorn his zodiac sign. He has 24 acting credits and is perhaps known best for performing the song “Drive Angry” in the 2011 action fantasy comedy movie “Drive Angry”, which starred Amber Heard and Nicolas Cage, and was written and directed by Patrick Lussier. It follows a vengeful father who’s after the men who’ve kidnapped his granddaughter and murdered his daughter, and the movie won one of its seven award nominations.

Education and early life

Weston was raised in Los Angeles as an only child, by his father Nicolas and mother Christina Fulton, who’s an American actress; his parents didn’t marry, and Weston has two younger paternal half-siblings from his father’s third marriage with Alice Kim (Kal-El, born on 3 October 2005), and fifth marriage with Riko Shibata (August Francesca, born on 7 September 2022).

Weston fell in love with music at a very early age, and was 14 when he founded the black metal band Eyes of Noctum; he launched his acting career in the following year, playing Vladimir in the critically acclaimed crime movie “Lord of War”, which starred his father Nicolas and Ethan Hawke, and was written and directed by Andrew Niccol. Weston could then have been seen playing supporting characters in the 2019 historical action “D-Day: Battle of Omaha Beach”, the 2019 horror thriller “Get Gone”, and the 2021 action thriller “Assault on VA-33”.

He’s appeared in only two other movies, playing Hells Angel in the 2021 biographical comedy “Fear and Loathing in Aspen” and Paulie in the 2023 action thriller “Mojave Diamonds”; he’s currently shooting for nine upcoming films, which include “The Night They Came Home”, “Way Out Here” and “Darkness of Man”.

Weston’s had roles in only three TV series. He appeared in the 2015 episode “Wes Cage” of the musical “The Vinnie Langdon Show”, and the following year saw him play Max in the episode “Is It Really What It Appears to Be?” of the action crime thriller “Undercover”.

In 2018, Weston played Walker in the episode “Outside the Lines” of the crime action “NCIS: Los Angeles”, which starred Daniela Ruah and Chris O’Donnell, and was created by Shane Brennan.
