On 9 November 2000, Gibbs got perhaps the best early birthday present anyone can get, when they welcomed Iyanna Faith, their first child into the world. At this point, Shamicka determined to lay her dreams of becoming a musician to rest, and as a devoted mother, she melted hearts whenever she and Iyanna appeared together.
