Emery Kelly is an American musician, singer and songwriter, who is best known to the world as a member of the pop boy band Forever in Your Mind, often stylized as FIYM. The band has existed since 2013, and has signed with Hollywood Records, so far releasing two EPs.

Emery Mikeal Thomas Kelly was born on the 28th December 1997, in New York USA; he grew up in his hometown alongside his sister Veronica, who he has featured in some of his videos on YouTube.

Career Beginnings
Emery was interested in music from an early age, and began singing and recording his videos. After a few words of praise, he competed in the music talent show “The X Factor” in its third season – Emery didn’t get into the final stages, but still amazed the judge Simon Cowell, who invited him to join other contestants in creating the pop boy band Forever in Your Mind.
Ricky Garcia and Jon Klaasen became his colleagues and friends – with them he was still eliminated before the finals, but FIYM lived on. Their debut single “She Lights the World” was released on the 7th of November 2013 to critical acclaim, but Jon left the band in 2014, and into his place came Emery’s cousin Liam Attridge. The trio has since been performing without a change in the line-up.
Rise to Stardom
They continued to make music, and the next song was released in 2015, entitled “Sweet Little Something”.
The same year they signed with Hollywood Records, and before the year ended they released the song and music video for “Wrapped Up for Christmas”. Throughout 2016, they worked on new music, but also did covers of numerous songs, creating medley mixes of such songs as “Wildside”, “This Is Me”, “Rotten to the Core”, “Wildest Dreams”, and “Uptown Funk”, among others. Their first, self-titled EP was released on the 1st July 2016, which spawned such hits as “Hurricane”, “Enough About Me”, and “Compass”.
They went on a tour for the rest of 2016, which made Emery and the rest of the band very popular. Once the tour ended, they continued to record new music, and in April 2017 released the new single “Smooth”, then their second EP “Euphoric” on 12th January 2018, though it was already available for pre-order on the 15th December 2017.
Acting Career
In addition to music, Emery has also pursued acting; he made his debut in 2015 with a minor role in the TV series “Dog with a Blog”, and continued with minor roles in such TV series as “Best Friends Whenever”, and “Lab Rats”, both in 2015.
In 2018 he secured his most successful role so far, as Lucas Mendoza in the TV comedy series “Alexa & Katie”, starring Paris Berelc, Isabel May and Jolie Jenkins. He also made his film debut, as he portrayed Aiden in the sci-fi thriller film “Max Winslow and the House of Secrets” (2019), with Chad Michael Murray, Marina Sirtis and Tanner Buchanan as the stars of the film.
