Michael Steger spent his childhood in his hometown of Los Angeles, where he was raised alongside three brothers by his father, who works as an operations manager, and his mother, an accountant. He holds American nationality and is of Austrian, Ecuadorian and Norwegian ethnicity. He revealed that he had to transfer to another school after being bullied from the fourth to sixth grade by his classmates, so he began training in martial arts, and As an 18-year-old, Michael earned his black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
