Kenny Goss is an American businessman and art dealer, however, he is probably best known to the world as the partner of the late superstar singer/musician George Michael. Kenny Goss Wiki: Age, Childhood, and Education
Kenny Gross was born on the 17th September 1958 in Bromwood, Texas USA; he is the son of Earl Goss and his wife Ozzell, and has a brother, Nathan. His childhood was rather troublesome as both of his parents developed alcohol addiction, which caused numerous problems in the family.
Despite all the hardships he endured in his teens, Kenny managed to successfully matriculate from high school, and enroll at the prestigious University of North Texas. During his time at the university, he was a part of the cheerleaders’ team. He had hidden his sexuality from his parents throughout the years he lived with them, fearing that they wouldn’t be able to deal with his homosexuality. He was once even in a relationship with a former Miss Texas.
Kenny’s career has been a rather successful one, but it wasn’t this that made him famous. Upon graduation from university, Kenny started selling cheerleading supplies, and soon joined the successful firm Herkie Herkimer’s Cheerleader Supply Co, for which he worked for several years, before venturing out on his own, and becoming a successful salesman.
Relationship with George Michael and Rise to Prominence
Kenny and George met for the first time in 1996; for the first couple of years, the couple kept their romance a secret, as George also hid his homosexuality, but it all became public when George himself was arrested for “carrying out a lewd act” in a toilet in California.
Their romance developed over the years, and Kenny was there for George through some of the most turbulent times in his life. They dated from 1996 until 2009, during which tim, Kenny became quite popular. In 2005, the two even planned to make their romance formal, but afraid of negative publicity, they decided to postpone the ceremony, and actually broke-up a few years later. George and Kenny remained great friends, and Kenny would visit him in hospital during Michael’s battle with pneumonia in 2011.
Kenny Goss Net Worth and Lawsuit
Kenny is now a millionaire, which has nothing to do with George Michael, as the singer didn’t leave him anything from his fortune. Kenny’s net worth is estimated at $10 million as of mid- 2019, and he has also started a legal battle for a large portion of George Michael’s fortune, claiming that he deserves to inherit it as he was there for him in his darkest times. However, the battle is still on with Michael’s lawyers, and the fortune is for now in the hands of George Michael’s sisters, Yioda and Melanie.
