He was the youngest child in the family, with his aforementioned older sisters.
He initially went to Kingsbury High School, but moved to Radlett where he went to Bushey Meads School. During this time, his musical aspirations started appearing, and alongside his classmate Andrew Ridgeley, eventually formed the music duo, Wham! in 1981. Career
Wham! existed from 1981 until 1986, during which time they released three studio albums -“Fantastic” in 1983, which topped the UK chart and achieved triple platinum status in Britain and gold status in the USA.
The second album came out in 1984, entitled “Make It Big”, which topped the UK and US Billboard 200 chart, achieving four-times platinum status in the UK and six times platinum status in the US. Kenny Goss was George Michael’s first publicly known gay lover, though he had a short relationship with a gay man before Kenny. He was in a relationship with Anselmo Feleppa, a Brazilian dress designer, which ended when Feleppa discovered he was HIV positive.
