Hazel spent her early life in Los Angeles, where she was raised by her father Daniel Moder, a famous cinematographer, and her mother Julia Roberts – she has a twin brother named Phinnaeis Moder ,and a younger brother Henry Daniel Moder who was born on 18 June 2007.
Hazel’s parents met in 2000 while filming “The Mexican” movie, and married on 4 July 2002 in Taos, New Mexico shortly after Daniel divorced his first wife Vera Steimberg.
