Who is Tony Revolori?
Tony Revolori is a well-known actor with nearly 50 acting credits to his name, but did you know that he started in commercials? He’s likely most recognized for his portrayal of Flash Thompson, one of Marvel’s superheroes, in films such as “Spider-Man: Homecoming”, “Spider-Man: Far from Home” and “Spider-Man: No Way Home”. However, his most notable role to date is his portrayal of the lobby boy, Zero, in the critically acclaimed movie “The Grand Budapest Hotel”, which earned him numerous accolades and praise.

Early life, family, and education
Born Anthony Quiñonez under the zodiac sign of Taurus on 28 April 1996, in Anaheim, California USA, he holds American nationality and comes from a family of Guatemalan descent. His parents, Sonia and Mario, both from Jutiapa, Guatemala, came to the US after they married; Mario used to be an actor. Tony has two brothers, the elder of them, Mario Junior, who is also an actor, and the younger, Benjamin, who has also followed in the footsteps of his brothers and father. (The surname ‘Revolori’ was chosen by all three brothers as their stage names as a tribute to their paternal grandmother).
When it comes to Tony, he began his acting career aged two when he got his first role in a baby food commercial, playing one of Santa’s elves in the Gerber Baby commercial. As a teenager, he played various instruments and did creative writing, painting and sports, however, he liked acting the most.
Speaking of his educational background, he attended a local high school, and upon matriculating in 2014, he didn’t go to college but pursued his acting career.

Tony made his acting debut as a Younger Boy in the 2004 short movie “Nebraska”. He followed with his role as Waylon in another short movie, “Smother”, in 2008, and later that year, he was cast to play Teenage Hilario in the TV comedy “Ernesto”, starring Héctor Jiménez.
In the following year, Tony made his big screen debut as Fidel Ruiz in “The Perfect Game”, a comedy-drama based on a true story about a group of boys from Monterrey, Mexico led by their priest, who won the Little League World Series, becoming the first non-US team to win 13 games in a row.
Tony was next seen as a Kid in the 2013 comedy “Fitz and Slade”, before he was cast to play his most significant and breakthrough role as Zero in the 2014 adventure comedy “The Grand Budapest Hotel”, written and directed by Wes Anderson. Fun fact: His brother Mario also auditioned for this role.

For his performance, Tony was nominated for the Indiana Film Journalist Association (IFJA) Award for Best Actor.
In the following year, Tony starred opposite Peter Sarsgaard and Rashida Jones in the drama “The Sound of Silence”. Later in 2019, he reprised his role as Flash in the sequel “Spider-Man: Far from Home”, followed by his appearance in the 2021 movie “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, which was the most successful of all three parts. Tony made his first TV series appearance as a Boy in an episode of the series “The Unit” in 2006, and followed with his guest roles in “Entourage” (2007), “My Name Is Earl” (2009), “Sons of Tucson” (2010), and “Shameless” (2013).
From 2019 through 2023, Tony had the recurring role as Tobe in the series “Servant”, a horror mystery drama, which was nominated for the Saturn Award- Best Streaming Horror & Thriller Series.
Concurrently, in 2020 came Tony’s first notable TV series role, when he was cast to play Theo in the musical comedy “Royalties”, starring opposite Kether Donohue and Darren Criss. Two years later, Tony landed one of his most significant TV series roles to date, playing Graydon Hastur in the series “Willow”, starring opposite Ruby Cruz and Ellie Bamber. This action-adventure drama followed the story of an unlikely group of heroes setting off on a dangerous quest to save their world. The show was nominated for the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Award for Outstanding New TV Series, in 2023.

Like many celebrities, Tony has been the subject of various speculations about his love life and his sexual orientation. He’s quite secretive when it comes to his romantic life, and hasn’t spoken about his previous relationships.
