Snoop Dogg is known for his affairs with other women, and from one of those relationships with Laurie Holmond, he has a son, Julian Corrie Broadus, born in 1998. How Shante saved their marriage?
After four years of separation, the two reconciled and renewed their wedding vows on 12 January 2008 – reportedly, they reconnected after their daughter was diagnosed with lupus. Snoop said that the pressure of being a celebrity affected his decision to divorce, and Shante shared that he even asked her for advice before he filed for divorce.
It seems that Shante determined to let him live without her so he could realize what they had together. Snoop wanted to prove his love for Shante, so his friend, Charlie Wilson, suggested that he make a grand gesture, and renew their vows. Many later commented that Shante was wise in letting him go. In the end, as Snoop himself said, he realized that his family is the most important thing in his life.
Their marriage was again under the spotlight in 2018, when a social media star, Celina Powell, claimed that she’d had an affair with Snoop. Allegedly, she had screenshots of their conversations and revealed that they also exchanged some intimate photos. He hails from Long Beach, California, where he was raised by his mother, Beverly Tate, and his stepfather Calvin Cordozar Broadus Senior. Snoop Dogg’s biological father, Vernell Varnado, left him and his mother when Snoop was just three months old.
