Jessica Chobot Wiki Bio

Jessica was born as Jessica Lynn Horn in Buffalo, New York State USA, on 7 July 1977 – her zodiac sign is Cancer, and she holds American nationality. She’s a writer, actress and on-camera host, probably known best for starring in the Discovery Channel’s reality mystery series “Expedition X”; it also stars Josh Gates and Phil Torres, has been airing since 2020, and follows Jessica (paranormal researcher) and Phil (scientist) as they’re investigating extraterrestrial events and mysterious creatures around the world. The show has aired four seasons.

Early life and education

Jessica was raised in various cities along the East Coast, as her family often moved while she was growing up; she hasn’t shared many details concerning her parents, but it’s said that her father was a real estate agent, and that her mother was a lawyer. Because Jessica hasn’t spoken of any siblings, many of her fans believe her to be an only child.

She studied at a local high school, and was interested in many activities during her four years there, however, Jessica was mostly into playing video games, both alone and with her friends, watching anime and reading manga. She was also physically quite active, as she enjoyed spending her time outdoors, playing soccer and volleyball with her friends.

Jessica matriculated in 1995, and although she hasn’t spoken of her further education, some of her fans believe that she attended college, from which she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 1999.

Jessica’s career

Jessica worked various jobs between 1995 and 2005, but hasn’t shared many details from her life during that period.

In 2005, the video game website Kotaku published a picture of Jessica, featuring her licking a Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP), which went viral on the internet. Since then, Jessica has appeared in many Sony commercials, and has spoken in many interviews about her love for video games and Japanese culture.

She portrayed Abbey in the 2011 action fantasy movie “Cross”, written and directed by Patrick Dunham, and which starred Brian Austin Green, Michael Clarke Duncan and Vinnie Jones. It follows Callan who has been given incredible power by Celtic Cross, and is now fighting evil forces in Los Angeles, California.

Love life and marriage

Even though Jessica prefers to keep the details of her love life to herself, it’s still widely known that she divorced her first husband in 2006, but chose to keep the surname ‘Chobot’; not a lot is known about her former husband, while it’s believed that he was a professional gamer.

On 18 February 2012, Jessica exchanged vows with the American TV personality Blair Herter, who has been working as the producer and host for the G4 Network since 2007. On 6 March 2013, Jessica gave birth to their son Emerson Roland Herter, but both she and Blair are trying to keep the boy away from the media’s attention, wanting him to be able to lead a normal life.

Jessica hasn’t mentioned any other men (or women) whom she has perhaps been with, so as of March 2022, she’s married to her second husband Blair Herter, and has a son with him.
