His subsequent verbal altercations with President Trump and others of the White House staff made for interesting viewing, resulting in Jim’s access to White House press conferences being blocked, subsequently restored only under the threat of legal action by CNN.

Most recently, Acosta published the book “The Enemy of The People: A Dangerous Time To Tell The Truth In America” (2019), a reference to the aforementioned controversy.
