It was created by Adrian Hodges and Tim Haines, and stars Andrew-Lee Potts, Hannah Spearritt and Douglas Henshall. Concurrently, Ruth appeared in two episodes of the British medical drama TV series “Holby City”, and the Christmas TV special “Fast Freddie, The Widow and Me” both in 2011.

2014 saw Kearney make a guest appearance as Katharina in several episodes of the American political TV drama series “Tyrant.” In the year that followed, she landed the recurring role of Daisy in the American crime thriller series “The Following”, in which a psychotic, brilliant, and charismatic serial killer comes up with a way of communicating with other serial killers, and creates a cult of believers, who are willing to do anything he commands them to.
