Early life and education
Montana spent the first two years in Longview before his parents moved to live in Ore City, Texas after his father Tony Jordan received a good job offer, while his mother Kelli Pieratt Smith works as a first-grade teacher there too. Montana has two older sisters named Katelli and Jaden Jordan; he attended a high school where his professor encouraged him to pursue a career in acting, and to take drama lessons, eventually becoming top of his class.
Montana grew up racing dirt bikes, and is currently a member of the Ore City Rebels National team. He is a hunter too, as his father has been teaching him how to hunt and set traps since he was six, and Montana is a huge fan of Motocross racing. He is also a musician, and is currently improving his skills at playing the guitar.

In October 2015, Montana attended his first audition trying to win a role in “The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter” comedy film.
The idea to audition was rather motivated and encouraged by his high school professor as well as by his parents and sisters. Out of 10,000 applicants, Montana ended up being chosen to portray Jaden marking the beginning of his acting career. The film stars Josh Brolin who plays Montana’s father, and was released in March 2018.
Montana was then chosen to portray George ‘Georgie’ Cooper, Jr. who is Sheldon Cooper’s older brother in the “Young Sheldon” spin-off TV series from “The Big Bang Theory” show in March 2017.
