Kylee Russell spent her early years in her hometown of Panorama City, raised by her father, Norman T. Russell, and mother Robin Tavares Russell. Kylee’s nationality is American and she belongs to the black ethnic group. She is Christian.

Kylee is the middle of three daughters, since she has an elder sister, named Chelsea Royce Tavares, and a younger sister, Halle Russell. During the same year she made her film debut, playing Roxanne Chambers in the drama film “South Of Pico”, directed by Ernst Gossner. After guest-starring as Hannah in the episode “Let Sleeping Dogs Lie” in the Nickelodeon sitcom “Just Jordan” in 2008, Kylee gained fame for her portrayal of young Kari in the 2009 drama film “Mississippi Damned”, written and directed by Tina Mabry, and which is based on her childhood.

By the end of the decade, she also played young Savannah in Ulli Lommel’s drama thriller “Absolute Evil – Final Exit”, and filmed the made-for-TV comedy “Kid Edition”, both in 2009.

Most recently, Kylee landed the role of Hazel in Camille Stochitch’s 2019 family film “Adventures Of Dally & Spanky”. It is announced that she will reprise the role of Eliza in the sequel of the Disney Channel’s musical “Z-O-M-B-I-E-S”, entitled “Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 2”, which is currently being filmed.
