There is almost no information that has been revealed about Kristian’s li,fe prior to her rise to fame in a political career as the partner of Chuck Todd. There are no details that have been shared about her family and upbringing. It is not known how she developed an interest in politics, but after matriculating from high school, she enrolled at Florida State University.

Career in Politics
In 2006, Todd began working as a part of Jim Webb’s US Senate Campaign, given the designation of senior communications strategist. During her time there, she was responsible for all earned and paid media strategy, directing it on behalf of the candidate. The effort proved successful, as Webb managed to defeat George Allen for the position.
After her run in the campaign, she then collaborated with Jessica Vanden Berg and Steve Jarding to create Maverick Strategies and Mail, known for being a messaging and voter contact firm. Through the company, she’s served numerous national clients and also worked for the Washington, D.C. mayoral campaign of Muriel Bowser. In 2014, the publication “Politico” reported that she had begun working with Webb once more as an unpaid volunteer for his exploratory committee. A few months later he announced his presidential run, which lasted for three months before it was suspended. Since then, she’s moved on to teaching, while also supporting her husband.
