Cusimano is a 52 year-old Caucasian musician, author, producer, TV personality and lawyer of part-Italian origin. He is probably most familiar to the worldwide audience because of frequent exposure on television and across numerous media outlets, owing to his many achievements in the entertainment business. Early life and education: One college isn’t enough
John was raised apparently an only child in his birth state, by his father and mother of unknown names and professions, though it’s been specified that his (maternal or paternal) grandfather hails from Palermo, and his grandmother from Catalano, both in Italy.
As a child, all John wanted to do was become a musical prodigy. He spent a lot of his free time on honing his playing skills, first by taking up piano lessons, and later on he also mastered the tuba. While attending an unspecified high school in Long Island, he was one of the members of its official band. John matriculated from there in 1985, thereafter enrolling into New York State University, from where he graduated in 1989. Cardozo School of Law for another five years of study, presumably graduating with a Juris Doctorate in 1994.

His first professional engagement took place when he was 15 years old, whereby he was cast in the film entitled “World War Mud”, however, it looks like he decided to stay out of entertainment for a long time after that, as John began his law career after graduation, serving in unknown positions for a few years. Two years after graduation, John assisted in the production of the English version of “Rurouni Kenshin: Wandering Samurai”, however, that was the last time he produced anything. It wasn’t until he had spent another eight years working as a lawyer that he established his band The Cringe – Cusimano was the frontman, while James Rotondy, Shawn Pelton and Jonny Blaze followed along.
Up until 2019, the band has produced a total of five full-length albums. Still, it was 2006 when John began his ascent into stardom. After marrying chef, actress and author Rachael Ray, Cusimano made regular appearances in her eponymous show, and has since been featured in numerous other TV programs, including “Big Morning Buzz Live”, “Entertainment Tonight”, “Rachael Ray’s Tasty Travels”, E! True Hollywood Story”, and “Biography”. He has never appeared in a role though, so he’s not an actor.
