Sylvia Hoeks is a Dutch former model and actress, who is possibly best known internationally for her appearance in the TV series “See”, and the films “The Girl in the Spider’s Web” and “Blade Runner 2049.”

Sylvia Gertrudis Martyna Hoeks hails from Maarheeze, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands, and was born under the Gemini zodiac sign on 1 June 1983, which makes her 40 years old as of 2023. Hoeks landed her first role in an American film role in 2017, when she was cast as Luv in the epic neo-noir sci-fi movie “Blade Runner 2049,” which was a sequel to the 1982 movie “Blade Runner.” To prepare for her role in the film, Sylvia undertook a special training program, which saw her spend six days a week and nearly six hours per day working out in the gym, comprising one and a half hours lifting weights, three hours doing cardio, and she reserved the remaining hours for vigorous martial arts training. She revealed during a session with “Interview” magazine that by the time she completed the training, she had gained over 10lbs (4.5kgs) of muscle. Hoeks also appeared in the Steven Quale-directed cation thriller “Renegades” in 2017.
In 2018, Hoeks landed the starring role of Leigh in the British action thriller, “All the Devil’s Men,” sharing the screen with Milo Gibson, William Fichtner and Gbenga Akinnagbe.
