She switched to Mississippi State University in 2004, and then to East Mississippi Community College in 2009, where she worked as an athletic instructional advisor – her main goal was to make sure that college football players also become academically successful, as much as athletically.
This is the reason behind her launch of the Gradesfirst project in 2014, as it is focused on helping the sporting students succeed in the classroom as well.
Brittany’s acting career was launched on 29 July 2016, after being featured in the “Last Chance U” Netflix mini series – the series follows Eastern Mississippi Community College and its football team, with Brittany as an important part of their lives. After the show gained her fame and acknowledgement across the states, she got to travel around the US, visiting schools and colleges to advise students and help them with their studies.
Brittany has been living in Birmingham, Alabama for more than two years now, and is working as a marketing director of the Newk chain of restaurants.

Brittany was a married woman as she exchanged her wedding vows with Mark White years ago. Brittany has been a big fan of Netflix even before she got a chance to appear in their series – she has admitted that her favorite Netflix show is “Making of a Murder”. Travelling is her main hobby and she has accepted the offer to go travelling around the states as a spokesperson because it also made it possible for her to visit numerous states while simultaneously working and making a change. She reads a lot, and while she enjoyed reading romantic books in the past, she has since transitioned to some deeper genres – her current favorite book is “Sarah’s Key”.

As she believes mental health is as important as physical, while Brittany has four training sessions at the gym each week, she also does yoga and meditates.
