Amy Johnston was born in Van Nuys, Los Angeles USA, on 5 February 1990, so under the zodiac sign of Aquarius and holding American nationality – she came under the spotlight after becoming an actress and a stuntwoman, and has now appeared as a stunt-woman in several popular movies, such as “Deadpool” and “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” .
Early life and education
Although born in Los Angeles, Amy spent her childhood in Wyoming, as her parents moved there in search of a better life soon after she was born – her father is David Johnston, and is popular thanks to being a former five-time World Kickboxing Association professional champion, while not much is known about her mother.
Motivated and pushed by her father, Amy grew up learning martial arts – her father began teaching her when she was only five years old, although her mother believed this was not something a girl should do. She was already seriously into it when she turned six, and was learning several fighting styles including Kenpo, taekwondo, kickboxing, and kung fu among others – she also watched many movies starring Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee, who served as her main role models (besides her father).
Amy attended a local high school in Wyoming, and after matriculation completely focused on her career of an actress and a stunt-woman, and didn’t enroll at college.

Amy has since appeared in a couple of worldwide popular movies, including “Deadpool”, “Deadpool 2”, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”, and “Suicide Squad”, while she’s also appeared in several TV series such as “Lucifer”, “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D”, and “Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope”. Although Amy was originally serving as a stunt-woman, she subsequently began acting, and won her first roles in 2016 as Rebecca in “Female Fight Squad” and Jane in “Lady Bloodfight” . In 2018, she played Jessica in “Breaking Barbi”, and Jane The Ripper in “Accident Man” – she has won the main role of Paloma Ramirez in the “Paloma’s Flight”, released in September 2019. The movie follows the story of a photo journalist, Paloma Ramirez, after losing her US Navy SEAL husband in Afghanistan during a mission gone wrong. Although hurt by her loss, Paloma still manages to find joy in her life, and goes on to work as a photo journalist in the city of Mexico.

The engagement was then announced on her Instagram account when she uploaded a picture of her ring and stated how she was the ‘luckiest girl in the world’. The couple hasn’t married yet, and it doesn’t appear as they are planning on starting a family anytime soon, as they are both completely focused on their careers.
Amy hasn’t commented on any men she might have dated before Zac and judging by her social media accounts and her own statements, she is currently engaged to Zac, hasn’t married, and has no kids.

Amy’s careers of a stunt-woman and an actress are taking most of her time, while she still manages to find gaps in her schedule for other things she enjoys doing. Amy sees travelling as one of her main hobbies, and has been all around the US while mostly visiting national parks and locations in nature of which she’s a big lover, preferring to be surrounded by trees and mountains rather than by people.
