Josh King Madrid Wiki Bio
American entrepreneur, social media star, author and public speaker Josh King Madrid – aka JetSet – was born in Orange County, California USA, on 8 March 1998, making Pisces his zodiac sign. It took Josh only one year, from the age of 18 to 19 to become a millionaire, which was possible thanks to him inventing something for Instagram, direct messaging automation called an automated-interactive conversational chatbot.
Education and early life
Josh was raised alongside his brother TheBlondeJon and sister Arianna in Orange, by their mother Whanda Madrid who’s a housewife, and father Eric Madrid who was attending Ohio State Medical School while simultaneously building his e-commerce drop shipping business, which sold air ionizers and health products, and was at one point worth more than $7 million. Josh’s brother TheBlondeJon is today a social media star, and is followed by close to five million people on TikTok.
Following the crash of the dot-com bubble in the late ‘90s, the family moved to Whittier, California after Josh’s father was invited to work at a local hospital. Josh was still in Kindergarten when he began drawing animals on his paper-folded wallets and selling them to his classmates, and was seven when he purchased beanies from AliBaba and sold them at his elementary school. His parents went on to launch their second e-commerce business Ehealthsupplies.com, and he helped them by packaging orders; the company was closed after four years, having generated around $500,000 in sales per year.
Josh continued buying things on AliBaba and then selling them at school, including silver and gold chains, shutter shades and iPod cases, amongst various other items; he’d earned $14,000 by the time he was 15, and was thus able to buy a Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T, with which he competed in car rallies.
Josh studied at Vista Murrieta High School, and was mostly into sports during his time there, being on the school’s basketball team and the track and field team. He switched to Paloma Valley High School aged 16, and was 17 when he became one of the best triple jumpers in California.
Josh matriculated in 2016 and was offered track and field scholarships by a number of colleges, choosing to enroll at University of California, Irvine and was a member of the fraternity Sigma Pi, however, he dropped out after only four months, wanting to focus on his career.
Josh then began taking a neuro-marketing certification program and neuro-linguistics programming class, completing both.
Josh is the founder of the monthly American magazine publisher NFTMagazine.com, and is believed to be one of the first Gen Z internet marketing entrepreneurs; he launched several businesses during his final year of high school, but he’s since closed most of these.
