Hannah Gross was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on 25 September 1990 – she holds Canadian nationality, and her birth sign is Libra. She’s popular through her acting career, particularly for playing Debbie Mitford in the “Mindhunter” TV series.

Childhood and education

Hannah spent her early life in Toronto with her parents Paul Gross and Martha Burns, both of whom are actors – she has a younger brother named Jack. Paul and Martha often took Hannah to movie sets with them, which is how she fell in love with the film industry and chose it as her career – her first role was in the play “Macbeth” in her high school.

She studied at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, from which she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre in 2012.

Debbie is a graduate student of sociology at the University of Virginia in the show’s first season – she helps her boyfriend interview Edmund Kemper, a serial killer, to better understand how serial killers think.

The show counts two seasons and 19 episodes, and won the Best Drama Series at the Satellite Awards in 2018 – it is still not known whether or not the series is going to be renewed for another season.
