David H. Faber was born in New York City, USA, on 10 March 1964 – his zodiac sign is Pisces and he holds American nationality. He’s a market news analyst and financial journalist, currently working for the American basic cable business news channel CNBC, while he’s perhaps known best for having guest hosted the game-show “Jeopardy!” from 2 to 6 August 2021. The show has been airing since 1984, was created by Merv Griffin, and follows a champion and two challengers who are testing their knowledge in many categories; it has won 52 of the 159 awards for which it’s been nominated.

Early life and education

David was raised in a Jewish family in Queens, New York City, by his parents about whom little is known, because he respects their privacy; it’s believed that his father is a lawyer, and that his mother’s an accountant. Because David hasn’t mentioned having any siblings, most of his fans believe that he’s an only child.

He became interested in journalism at the age of 12, after he started watching the news with his father on a daily basis; David then focused on his education, determined to one day pursue a college degree.

He attended a local high school at which he was quite sporting, playing both football and tennis, while he also wrote articles for the school newspaper.

Upon matriculating in 1982, David enrolled at Tufts University, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1986.

David launched his Twitter account in May 2010, and it’s today followed by close to 250,000 people, while he’s tweeted more than 3,000 times, mostly sharing the latest news with his fans, but also enjoys sharing his opinion on various matters, including the ongoing war in Ukraine.
