While in college, in March of 2009, with his twin brother Cory, and their friends and college roommates Garrett Hilbert, Coddy Jones and Tyler Toney came up with an idea to create their official YouTube channel under the username ‘Dude Perfect’, . A month later, they filmed their basketball gameplay and uploaded the video called “Backyard Edition”, which went viral. The group continued posting various trick shots and comedy videos, which led them to be noticed by the ESPN’s “E:60”, for which they filmed a segment, later broadcast in such TV shows as “Around The Horn”, “SportsNation”, “First Take” and “Pardon The Interruption”, among others.
After receiving several sports approbations, they collaborated with such popular personalities as professional NBA player Chris Paul, NASCAR driver Travis Pastrana, NFL coach Pete Carroll, and volleyball player Morgan Beck, and even filmed videos with soccer teams Arsenal F.C., Chelsea F.C. and Manchester City F.C. in the UK.
