Early life and family
Charly “Charly Caruso” Arnolt was born under the sign of Canceron 14 July 1987, in Indianapolis, Indiana USA, so holds American nationality. Her mother’s name is Charlene May Arnolt, who is Italian, and her father is Michael I. Arnolt, a journalist who opened the Center of Investigative Journalism on the campus of Indiana University. He’s an alumnus of the university – class of 1967 -, graduating with a BA in Journalism, and is developing the branch of investigative reporting in Indiana.

Successful beginning
Charly started her career when in the last course of study at American University, as she had several internships, serving as a junior news intern and a production intern in the sphere of sports broadcast, mainly participating in KRIV-TV projects. In 2010, right after the graduation, Charly got her first job at WSAZ-TV (NBC affiliated), located in Huntington/Charleston, West Virginia, holding the position of a news anchor.
Charly described working there to be a tough time: ‘It’s been a serious grind. I was a one-man-band news reporter <…> I carried around a camera, tripod and microphone and covered all my stories by myself (oh, the stories I have)’, she shared on one of her Instagram posts. In 2011 she was offered work in the position of a live morning news reporter in Kansas City, at WDAF-TV (Fox affiliated), being promoted to the position of a general assignment reporter. In 2013 Charly returned to Indiana, being invited as a sports reporter and anchor for WXIN-TV (Fox-59 affiliated). She worked there for more than two years, eventually quitting in 2015 to become an independent reporter, though being unemployed for about four months.

Getting to WWE
At the end of 2016 Charly received an offer she didn’t expect – invited to hold the position of a ring announcer and the host of WWE events. Charly accepted the offer, changing her name from Charly Arnolt to Charly Caruso, though she never explained her nickname choice. She started with covering WWE NXT actions, switching to the backstage announcing for WWE RAW.

Hobbies, favorite things and interesting facts
Charly is said to love baby food prunes. She enjoys spending time with her family, and always comes home for Christmas to spend the Holidays with her relatives and big family. She likes Disney cartoons and “old” Disney Princesses, such as Belle, Aurora and Ariel, considering there is enough of Elsa and Moana, and mothers should teach their daughters about “old” Disney Princesses first.
