Latarian Milton is best known for being a juvenile delinquent, who in 2008 at the age of only seven, stole his grandmother’s truck and went on a road rage rampage through Palm Beach, Florida, causing damage to a vast number of properties along the way. He is also recognizable under the nickname ‘Hood Rat Kid’.
Early Life
Latarian was born under the zodiac sign of Virgo on the 30th September 2000, in Palm Beach, Florida, USA, and is of American nationality and African-American ethnicity. His mother Sheneequa gave birth to him when she was just 16, so he was primarily raised by his grandmother Zikkita Stratford. In June 2015 he matriculated from John F. Kennedy Middle School in Riviera Beach, Florida.
‘Hood Rat’ Stuff
Into the limelight young Latarian came in April 2008, when he took his grandmother’s Dodge Durango and, alongside a friend, carried out a ‘joyride’ through the streets of Palm Beach. The epilogue of two seven-year-olds cruising in an SUV was a severe damage on a bunch of assets – the boys “ran over two mailboxes, hit two parked cars in a Costco parking lot, and struck two moving cars near a Wal-Mart” as the media later reported.
During the reportage after the accident, covered by the West Palm Beach News Station WPBF, Latarian stated that he was angry at his mother, who is a chain smoker, and that he just wanted to smoke cigarettes and do ‘hood rat’ stuff with a friend, claiming that he ‘want to do it because it’s fun, fun to do bad things’.
Due to a rather unique yet quite odd way of explaining and justifying his acts, the video went viral promoting Milton to an internet sensation almost overnight, and spawning a vast number of memes. It inspired a whole lot of various mash-ups and remixes as well, all featuring his infamous quote, earning him the ‘hood rat’ moniker.

“The Boondocks”
This whole ‘venture’ inspired an episode of the TV adult animated action comedy series “The Boondocks”, named “Smokin with Cigarettes” in which the main protagonist is Lamilton Taeshawn, a parodic fictitious sociopath and malicious juvenile, primarily based on Latarian Milton.
“Latarian Milton Strikes Again!”
Just two months after the abovementioned joyride in June 2008, Latarian caught the mass media’s attention once again, this time for beating his grandmother in Lake Park Wal-Mart, for not wanting to buy him ‘some chicken wings’. After being taken into custody he was sent to a hospital where he was subjected to a mental evaluation.
Where is Latarian now?
Although it seemed that all would work out when he began his secondary education with aspirations to get his life in order, join the school’s American Football team, and then continue his schooling by studying engineering or even joining the US Navy, Milton proved all that wrong. In August 2017, alongside a couple of friends, he ordered a Lyft ride and later robbed the driver, pulled him out of the car and drove away.
He was then arrested and charged with carjacking and robbery, and after several court dates, he was sent to a juvenile detention center. As of 2019, he is imprisoned, still waiting for the final verdict which could quite possibly end up with a 15-year-long jail sentence.

Terrible spare the rod spoil the child. His grandmother should’ve been whipping that ass instead of hoping he becomes an actor that his behavior would actually get him in the lime light. I hate to say it but I hope she’s no longer here. With people like that raising kids this world is in trouble. ?
Someone should have helped his grandma and directed her to get him in some productive programs, his antics shouldn’t have been glamorized by the media, they just made it worse. The system failed this kid.
He was sentenced to 3 years for ‘carjacking’, ‘auto theft’, and ‘giving false info to a pawn broker’. However, because of Covid-19, he was granted a “companionate release” after only 7 months in prison.
