Sheena Parveen is an Indian-American journalist, meteorologist, and news anchor, who is best known to the world for her work for NBC 10, which she joined in December 2011, and attained national fame. Before NBC 10, she worked for the WTVT network, and Tallahassee News, among other stations.

Back in 2017, Sheena announced that she was leaving NBC 10, which left her fans speechless.

Sheena Parveen was born on the 23rd of September 1987 in India; her father Mike is an Indian and works as a computer programmer, while her mother, Sherry, is an American, and is involved in the real estate industry.
Sheena has an older brother, and the whole family migrated to the USA, settling in Florida. She spent the rest of her childhood in sunny Florida, and upon high school matriculation, enrolled at the Florida State University, from which she obtained a degree in meteorology. She furthered her studies at the American Meteorologist Society, from which she obtained her Certified Broadcast Meteorologist certificate.
Career
Following the end of her studies, Sheen was recruited as an intern at Tallahassee News.

She honed her skills there for a while, and as she gained experience the directors offered her a full-time position, and she officially became a meteorologist and reporter. Sheen remained there for a couple of years, after which she had an offer from WTVT station, and became the new meteorologist and columnist for the Fox-affiliated station. Thanks to her hard work, Sheena was soon promoted to head weather forecaster, however, lack of challenge frustrated Sheena, and she started looking for a new engagement.
It was in 2011 that she left WTVT after two years of working for the station, and accepted a job offer from NBC 10.
The Big NBC Family, National Success
Sheena moved to Philadelphia from Tampa Bay, and officially joined NBC 10 in December 2011. She became their new weekday evening meteorologist, and held the position for the next five years. During this time, Sheena became loved by all on NBC, making it like a big happy family.
However, she’d got used to water sports in Florida, and felt distressed not being able to enjoy one of her favorite activities at her new home. As a result, she ordered a paddleboard from San Diego and had it shipped across the country, which she considers the “best decision ever”. After Philadelphia, Sheena moved to Washington but remained with NBC. This time she was seen on NBC 4, and continued as a weekday morning meteorologist.
One of the shows on which she worked was “News Today”, however, Sheena remained in Washington only until September 2018, when she moved to San Diego and joined NBC 7. She made her first appearance at her new station on the 17th October, and since then, she can be seen between 4:30 a.m- 7:00 a.m and 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon from Monday to Friday. During her career, Sheena has reported on numerous blizzards, storms, tornadoes, and hurricanes – one of the major stories she covered was Hurricane Sandy’s landfall on the New Jersey shore.

Scott spent 17 seasons in the National Hockey League, playing for the Nashville Predators, Philadelphia Flyers, and Columbus Blue Jackets.
