Lori fell in love with modelling at a very early age, and had a dream of becoming a model someday, however, this would never work out for her, but she will rather find other things she enjoys doing. She attended both elementary and high school in Atlanta, and then enrolled at Columbia College in South Carolina, from which she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business in 1980.
Career of a TV host and a businesswoman
Lori immediately went back to Atlanta, and opened her own “Bridals by Lori” boutique on 27 December 1980 – being very passionate about her work and having experience in the field, Lori has managed to make her boutique the largest and most popular in the US.
Thanks to the success of her now chain of boutiques, Lori was invited to serve as the host of the “Say Yes To The Dress: Atlanta” reality TV show in 2010. After the show’s huge success, Lori was made the host of the show’s spin-off, entitled “Say Yes To The Dress: Bridesmaids”.

Lori was diagnosed with breast cancer on 13 April 2012, and many of her fans feared for her life – soon rumors of Lori passing away began circulating the internet. However, these all turned out to be false – Lori has undergone a lumpectomy, but as the surgery failed, she had to undergo a double mastectomy, meaning that both of her breasts have been removed.

They were together for more than two years before exchanging their wedding vows in 1979 – their families were against it because they were still studying, but Lori and Eddie were not paying attention to anyone.
