After she matriculated from high school, Joanna moved to Fairbanks to attend the University of Alaska’s School of Agriculture, from which she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing – she is still living in Fairbanks and working at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital as a pediatric nurse.
Charlie’s father Paul Jagow was born in 1947; he is a Christian and has a net worth of over $100,000 – Charlie’s mother Dawn is around the same age as Paul and is a housewife.
There were some rumors circulating the internet that the two recently died in a car accident, however, these have turned out to be false as they can often be seen in “The Last Alaskans” series. It has also been rumored that Charlie died while shooting for the show, but this was also false.
Charlie’s early life and education
Charlie was raised by his parents Dawn and Paul in Alaska. Both of his parents were born and raised in New York City, but did not meet each other until they both moved to live in Alaska.
Charlie was raised in a dangerous area in the wilderness, where only seven families are currently allowed to live – Charlie is the youngest person who has a permit to live there ,and is planning on building his own house so that he can live with his wife there once he marries someone.
He attended a high school in Alaska, and after matriculation, focused on his life in the wilderness rather than pursuing a college degree.
Career as a TV personality and other works
Charlie is a trapper of animals in the wilderness, so that he can use their fur and other elements – he is also working as a local guide. Charlie occasionally offers advice and training to those who are interested in learning how to properly place a trap, and how to reset it after it is once used. He is particularly skilled at trapping wolves and lynx, while he has also worked with wolverines, otters, and beavers. Charlie’s father taught him how to pilot a ‘plane, and Charlie has purchased his own after saving money for several years.
On 25 May 2015, Charlie and the rest of his family began starring in “The Last Alaskans” reality TV series – it first aired on the Animal Planet channel, while it switched to the Discovery Channel after its first season. The show follows several families living in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska, as they struggle with the Alaskan weather as well with its wildlife – the show counts four seasons and 36 episodes, which have a running time of around 42 minutes.
Love life and girlfriend
Charlie has spent most of his life away from crowded cities and civilization in general, which is why he hasn’t been linked to any girls – it is rumored that he had a girlfriend while he was attending high school and that the two dated for nearly two years, however, this hasn’t been confirmed. Charlie has stated in an interview that he wants to build himself a house so that he could be ready to start a family whenever he’s ready.
Hobbies and other interests
Charlie enjoys being physically active and is building his own cabin, including raising a 900 pounds ridge pole all on his own.

He enjoys rivers, and is living near one in Alaska – he usually passes across it without a problem but when the water level rises, he has to use a boat. He enjoys the life he has in the nature and all the work that one has to do to survive, including collecting wood, making his own tools and equipment, and trapping and hunting animals for their meat and fur – although he often kills animals, Charlie is a lover of animals but does what he does because it is necessary for living. Charlie likes to travel but in a rather different way than others may think – he enjoys going further than he is used to within Alaska, exploring new places and destinations.
He was trained by some of the best Alaskan guides, and has become one of them – he holds an outfitters license, and has recently purchased a Federal concession from another Alaskan named Sandy Jamieson.
Appearance and net worth
Charlie is 21 years old. He has short brown hair and brown eyes, is 5ft 7ins (1.7m) tall, and weighs around 139lbs (63kgs). His net worth is estimated at over $100,000, as of late-2019.
