Alysha Del Valle was born in East Los Angeles, USA on 27 June 1972 under the zodiac sign of Cancer, and she holds American nationality. She’s a broadcast reporter, currently working as a traffic correspondent for NBC4 network.
Early life and education
Alysha was raised in East Los Angeles in a family of Latino activists, and often credits her parents with her having good manners and respecting people of all ages and all nationalities. She was very talkative throughout her childhood, and was often making trouble at elementary school as she kept talking during her classes.
After matriculating from high school as top of her class, she enrolled at the University of Southern California on a scholarship, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications with honors in 1994.
Career as a reporter
Alysha first joined Los Angeles Fox 11 News, working on their assignment desk, spending two years with the network before being given a chance to do occasional reporting from the field, on local stories of human interest. After leaving Fox 11, she began working for Hot 92 Jamz and became the traffic reporter for “The George Lopez Morning Show”.
From there, Alysha moved to 102.7 KIIS FM, and became a host of two segments of their morning shows – “On the Streets with Alysha Del Valle” was very popular. In her segments, Alysha covered entertainment news, lifestyle, and cultural issues, and these were shown in the “Rick Dees in the Mornings” and “On-Air with Ryan Seacrest” TV shows. Simultaneously, Alysha was a host of the “LATV LIVE” evening show, which was aired through the LATTV Network.

The two dated for two years before she was left pregnant, and gave birth to their daughter Rain Paloma on 7 June 1994, however, the relationship lasted only for a short time after Rain was born as the two split apparently because of the infidelity of her partner. Alysha and the man in question are not in good relations, as it was left up to her to raise her child on her own, but Rain has been close with her father over the years and she often uploads pictures with him onto her social media accounts.

The two stations share the same facilities on Lankershim Boulevard in Universal City, while the KNBC’s transmitter can be seen on Mount Wilson.
