Oliver Peck spent his early years in his hometown of Dallas, where he was raised by his mother, Diane Lucas. His nationality is American, and he belongs to white Caucasian ethnicity. He developed his love early for drawing and art, and also became interested in skateboarding. He went to South West High School, but was a troublemaker as a teenager, and was even arrested for using drugs. A spell in prison persuaded him to change his life, so following his release he got a job at a factory.
Career Beginnings and Guinness World Record
Oliver Peck started his career as a tattoo artist when he was 19 years old, and improved his skills under the guidance of a professional tattoo artist named Stell, in his tattoo shop “Pair-O-Dice Tattoo”. He soon became one of the most talented and famous tattoo artists, known for his traditional ‘old school’ tattoo style. In 2008, Oliver Peck created 415 tattoos of the number 13 during a period of 24 hours, which led him to be mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records, surpassing his ex-wife’s record of 400 tattoos. Thanks to his skills, Oliver has tattooed all around the world, including in such countries as Ireland, England, Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Thailand, Japan, etc.

Oliver Peck soon launched two tattoo shops. He opened his first shop in Dallas, called “Elm Street Tattoo”, and has now been running it for almost two decades. Thereafter, he expanded by launching another tattoo shop named “The Original True Tattoo” in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. Moreover, he also runs True Tattoo Institute, a school for tattooing, and is the owner of the printing service Original Anchor Screen Printing.
Main Judge in “Ink Master”
Oliver made his debut appearance on television next to his wife Kat Von D, in the TLC reality show “Miami Ink”.
However, he came to prominence after being chosen to appear as a main judge in the reality TV competitive series “Ink Master”, alongside tattoo artist Chris Nuñez and guitarist Dave Navar. It featured tattoo artists who participated in various challenges, showing their skills and talents. Produced by Original Media, the show premiered on 17 January of 2012 on the Spike network, renamed to Paramount Network in 2018. There have been three spin-off series, entitled “Ink Master: Angels”, “Ink Master: Grudge Match”, and “Ink Master: Redemption”. The series’ have been internationally broadcast on such networks as 7mate in Australia and truTV in Ireland.

Oliver Peck married professional tattoo artist Kat Von D back in 2003, but after four years of marriage, they went their separate ways in August of 2007, and their divorced was finalized later that year. In an interview, Oliver revealed that the main reason for their separation was her problems with alcoholism. The couple had a daughter together.
Life after Divorce
Following the divorce, Oliver Peck became romantically involved with Audra Cabral in October of 2009. In 2017, he did not appear in two episodes of “Ink Master”, as he suffered a heart attack and had to have a surgery.

His ex-wife Katherine Von Drachenberg, better known as Kat Von D, was born on 8 March 1982 under the sign of Pisces, in Montemorelos, Nuevo León, Mexico of Spanish, Italian and German ancestry. She was raised alongside two siblings by her parents René and Sylvia Galeano. Her brother is named Michael, and her sister is Karoline. At the age of four, the family moved to Colton, California, where she took piano lessons from the age of six.

At the age of 16, Kat dropped out of school to focus on her career as a professional tattoo artist. She reached fame when she was invited to join the cast of the TLC reality show “Miami Ink”, since she worked at the tattoo studio 305 Ink.
After she left the show and studio, Kat launched her own tattoo shop “High Voltage Tattoo” in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California and her own show on the same network, entitled “LA Ink”, which premiered in March 2007 and aired through September 2011.
