Early life and family
Timothy John Mowry was born on 4 January 1957, in Miami, Florida USA, so under the sign of Capricorn, and holding American nationality; he’s of Irish and English descent. Little is known about his parents, any siblings and childhood, except that he showed an interest in sports from an early age, and was a physically developed guy. He apparently has a very warm and close relationship with his kids, and according to his daughter Tamera Mowry, ‘They were a happy family of six growing beyond the race restrictions’.

Timothy matriculated from a local high school in Miami in 1975, from an unnamed school. He also hasn’t shared any details on his further education – nothing at all is known about the university or college he entered after his matriculation, nor about his BA.

Timothy has always been a military person, and previously worked in the American Army, for some period of time on the base in Coleman Kaserne, located in Hesse, Germany. Timothy was soon a Non-Commissioned Officer, ranked sergeant for his successful services. After returning to the US, he retired with the rank of the first sergeant, then held the position of a custody officer in the Glendale Police Department, California. Personal life, ex-wife Darlene Renee Mowry
Timothy met his future wife Darlene Renee Mowry when they were studying in high school. After their matriculation they both entered the US Army, Darlene having previously worked as a security guard, and she also worked along with her husband in Germany.. When Timothy was promoted to the position of first sergeant, Darlene was holding the position of a drill sergeant. On 6 July 1978, while the couple was still living and working in Germany, Darlene gave birth to their first kids – twin-daughters, Tia and Tamera. In 1979 the family of four moved back to the US, living for some time in Fort Hood, Texas.
Darlene was a very dedicated mother and early noticed her daughters were not only beautiful, but very talented. She started signing them to various pageants which they easily won, impressing the judges with their exceptional performances and manners.
On 17 May 1986 Timothy and Darlene gave birth to their third child and first son, Tahj, who is now also very successful in the entertainment industry. Their fourth child was born in 1993, their second son they named Taviour; he is very far from show business, following in the steps of his father, who was also keen on sports, as Taviour is an American Football player, who performs for the team of the University of California, Davis.
In 1988 the family moved to California, taking a 30-day leave from their work to help Tamera and Tia sign a contract with Chrysler for the “Double Dutch Ad”. Darlene ended up quitting her work to manage their daughters’ career.

Identical twins, Tamera and Tia Mowry have made a very successful career acting in various series and movies. After winning multiple pageants and getting several contract for ads for such companies as Chrysler, Tia and Tamera had their first roles in the series “Full House” (1987 – 1995). They instantly understood that they enjoyed acting and proceeded to attend more castings, and landing new roles. At first they appeared in series together, playing twins or just different roles. Thus, they could be seen in “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” (1990 – 2000), “Detention” (1999 – 2003), “Harlem World, Kelly Price, & Mase: I Really Like It” (1999) and “Dangerous Women” (1999 – present).

Timothy has black hair which is becoming grey due to his age; he has grey eyes.
