Tim Chapman is not dead. Where is he now? Wiki Bio
Timothy Charles ‘Youngblood’ Chapman was born in Ventura, California USA, on 13 May 1965 so under the zodiac sign of Taurus and holding American nationality – he gained attention and popularity for being a former bounty hunter. He is currently residing in Ventura, and living a peaceful life with his girlfriend.
Childhood and education
Tim grew up in a family who were all bondsman, including his father Ronald Chapman and his mother Diane Wimberly – they divorced when Tim was around two years old and due to circumstances, both Tim and his brother Russell had to live with their father’s parents rather than with Ronald or Diane. After two years at the age of four, Tim went to live with his mother, while his brother went to live with their father. Tim fell in love with the family business at quite a young age, and it’s believed that he arrested his first fugitive when he was around 15 years old.
He enrolled at a local high school in Ventura, where he grew up, and after matriculation, Tim completely focused on his career as a bondsman and a bounty hunter, and chose not to enroll at college.
Career as a bounty hunter and being arrested
Following his parents’ footsteps, after meeting a man named Duane Chapman, better known as Dog, the two of them together with Dog’s family launched their own company called Da Kine Bail Bonds. In 2004, he began appearing in the “Dog the Bounty Hunter” reality TV series alongside his friend Dog, and was part of the main cast until the show ended on 23 June 2012.
While Tim has arrested numerous people throughout the years, he himself has been arrested a couple of times too. In June 2003, Tim and Dog were trying to find and arrest Andrew Luster who is a rapist – the man escaped to Mexico where Tim and Dog tracked and arrested him. However, the three of them were arrested in Puerto Vallarta by the Mexican police – they paid their bail and never returned to attend court. In September 2006, they were arrested by the US police as the Mexican government demanded it as they had not appeared at court for three years. Luckily for them, the charges they were facing were dropped in August 2007.
Tim was arrested another time, in January 2008, after two police officers saw him play with himself in his car which was in a parking lot – he was originally charged for terroristic threatening and for exposing himself in public.
The trial was very short and Tim was released without being charged for anything, however, after hearing about the case, his wife left him. Tim also appeared in the “Empire of Ash III” movie shot in 1989 and “E! True Hollywood Story” TV series shot in 1996.
Love life and wife
Tim hasn’t shared much regarding his love life with the public, as he was always more focused on talking about his job as a bounty hunter. He married Davina Chapman, a housewife, at the beginning of the 21st century – the exact date of their wedding isn’t known.
Davina fell in love with Tim mostly because of his job as a bounty hunter. They have four children together, named Summer Rain, Autumn Sky, Storm Hunter, and Thunder Cloud.
Davina left Tim in 2008 after he was arrested for the second time, but the divorce wasn’t made official until 2010. Tim then met another, unnnamed woman and they have a son together they named Tim Chapman Junior. Although Tim is currently seeing the mother of his fifth child, they have not married, and it doesn’t appear as they are planning to.
Interests and hobbies
While being a bounty hunter has been Tim’s main focus during his life, he has still had numerous other interests throughout the years. Tim was very sporting during the years he spent at high school, which is why he was physically ready for the job of a bounty hunter when he started.
He also had a dream of becoming a popular actor, which hasn’t come true for him, however, he still appeared in a movie and a TV series, as well as in the “Dog the Bounty Hunter” reality TV show. He was never a big fan of watching shows on TV, as he has always been on the move and has always been doing various things – he has been teaching his children about bondsmen and bounty hunters, but it appears as none of them are really going to get into this kind of business.
Although retired, Tim misses his old job and would like to get back to it one day, which is why he is still exercising on a daily basis just to stay in shape.
Appearance and net worth
Tim is currently 54 years old. He has short grey hair and brown eyes while his height and weight are not known. His current net worth has been estimated to be more than $3 million, which may not rise much further, unless he comes out of retirement.
