In the very beginning of the 2000s, Vin Diesel came to prominence winning the role of Dominic Toretto in the street racing film “The Fast And The Furious” (2001), directed by Rob Cohen. In the following year, he portrayed Xander Cage in the action film “XXX”, for which he also served as the executive producer. In 2004, Vin reprised the role of Richard B. Riddick in the sequel “The Chronicles Of Riddick”, which he also produced, and then voiced the same character in the anime film “The Chronicles Of Riddick: Dark Fury” in the same year.

It was followed by his portrayals of Lieutenant Shane Wolfe in the 2005 comedy “The Pacifier” and Jackie DiNorscio in the crime “Find Me Guilty” (2006).
