October spent her early life in Los Angeles, where she was raised by her Mexican mother and American father Pat Vegas, a musician playing in the Redbone band in the ‘70s.
As Pat was a pianist and Pat’s mother was a singer, October and her brother and three sisters were pushed to take music lessons as they were growing up – October and her sister Sarah could often be heard singing at charity and school events. He was marked as one of the most desirable tight-end players when he was picked by the Kansas City Chiefs in 1997 – his first season ended with two touchdowns and 33 receptions while the Chiefs ended with a record in the American Football Conference (AFC). Tony was playing better each year, and on 23 April 2009, he was traded to the Atlanta Falcons – he was named to the Pro Football Hall of Fame All-Decade Team from 2000 to 2009. He signed a new two-year contract with the Falcons on 15 March 2013, and then retired in 2014.
Today, Tony is rated to be one of the best tight end footballers of all time, and in 2019 he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
