She has recently posted a photo of Jokha Alharthi on her Instagram account, congratulating her on winning the International Man Booker Prize for her book “Celestial Bodies”, which made Jokha the first Omani female author whose novel has been translated into English.

MyAnna once shared in her interview with the Swedish magazine Nöjesbladet in 2013, that even though she was Swedish, she felt more like an English actor, working mainly in American and English productions, though she dreamt of working in Sweden: ‘I have always maintained my Swedish citizenship and I have Sweden in the spinal cord, my parents are Swedish and I have family in Sweden <…> But London is my home’.

Educational background

MyAnna attended her secondary school at the Omani department of the American British Academy, located in Muscat, sharing her school desk with another future actor, Stegath Dorr, who later became a horror filmmaker.
