Sasha Czack is an American actress, photographer, model and film director. Despite her success in these careers, Sasha is best known as the first wife of Hollywood superstar, screenwriter and producer, Sylvester Stallone.

Early life, family and educational background

Sasha was born Alexandra Jane Czach under the star sign of Cancer on the 17th of July 1950, in Chester, Pennsylvania, USA – she is nicknamed “Stitch”. Nothing is known about her parents and any siblings. It’s evident that she had a fondness for acting, as after her high school matriculation, she attended the University of Notre Dame du Lac in Indiana, USA, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies.

Sasha then began searching for jobs, and earned a role in the Soap Opera ‘Love for Life’, telecast on the American CBS Network, which had a long run on the network, from 24th  September 1951 up to 1st February 1980. Sasha’s role in the show gave her the opportunity to be noticed by other members of the industry, and she was offered the lead in the American drama, ‘Play It as It Lays’ in 1972. She didn’t accept this role, and stayed back to help her then fiancé (Sylvester Stallone) type screenplays for his project. She had a small role alongside her husband at the time in “Rocky III” in 1982, and years later in 1996, she acted in the film “Long Lost Love” which she wrote and directed, as well as the 2006 film, “Vic” which was directed by her late son, Sage.

Marriage to Sylvester Stallone and divorce

Sasha Czack and Sylvester Stallone wed on the 28th of December 1974. Their wedding attracted a lot of attention due to the already famous Sylvester, and put Sasha in the limelight. The newlyweds moved to California, and just two years later they were blessed with their first child whom they named Sage Moonblood. In 1979, they had another son and named him Seargeoh.

The couple tied the knot in 1997 but divorced just two years later, since when Sasha has apparently remained officially single.

The late son of Sasha Czack and Sylvester Stallone was an American film director, actor and film distributor. As an actor he starred in several films, including “Rocky V” with his father, and “Daylight”. His directorial debut was the film “Vic” in 2006 which earned him a Best New Filmmaker Award at the Boston Film Festival.

Other projects of his were “The Agent” and “Promises Written In Water”.

Unfortunately, his career came to an abrupt end on the 13th of July 2012 when he was found dead in his home in Los Angeles by his housekeeper, after she was sent to check on him by his mother. Initially speculation and reporting on his death from a drug overdose proved inaccurate, as toxicology tests and an autopsy, determined that the primary cause of death was a heart attack, brought on by atherosclerosis. The only drugs that were found in his body were the painkillers he was taking for a dental procedure. He was 36 years old at the time of his death; he was buried on the 21st of July in Los Angeles.
