Jaryd “Summit1G” Lazar was born on 23 April 1987, in Colorado Springs, Colorado USA – his ancestry is half Hungarian. Jaryd started his gaming and streaming career in 2012, while his YouTube channel was created in 2013. In his early days he played Counter Strike professionally, competing at various championships and tournaments. In 2015, he got into the first five players on Clutch Con 2015, and later participated in Alienware Area 51 Cup #1 and CEVO Season 9 Professional North America – Qualifier #3.
