She probably benefitted from the success of her ex-boyfriend during their time together, as Shaq has a net worth estimated to be over $400 million.
Early Life, Education, and Career
Laticia grew up alongside four siblings, and at a young age developed a strong interest in basketball. She played the sport during her youth, and continued to do so while she attended Worcester Academy, being named as the Most Valuable Player. The private school is one of the oldest boarding schools in the country. They are particularly selective, with only 65% of applicants successful.
After matriculating she enrolled at Eckard University, due to their history in basketball. The school is located in Florida, and is known for its athletic teams which compete as a part of NCAA Division II. While she managed to do well, she was never able to transition to professional basketball. Instead, after completing her degree, she began working as a model, making a bit of a name for herself as she started taking on brand-specific projects. Two of the companies she worked with include The Frye Company and HUDSON JEANS.
Ex-Boyfriend – Shaquille O’Neal
Shaquille O’Neal comes from a line of basketball players, though he didn’t come to know his father well due to his father’s drug addiction. He started playing during his youth, and attended Robert G. Cole High School where he helped the team to a two-year 68-1 record, leading to a state championship. He gained comparisons to Kareem Abdul-Jabar during this time.
After matriculating, he enrolled at Louisiana State University, where he earned numerous accolades with the men’s basketball team.
He was named as a two-time SEC Player of the Year and a two time All-America. In 1991, he became the NCAA men’s basketball player of the year, making one of the biggest impacts for LSU in its entire history.
In 1992 he joined the NBA draft, and was selected as the first overall pick by the Orlando Magic. He immediately made an impact during his rookie season, being named rookie of the year, and improved as the years progressed. He led the NBA in scoring during his third year, but was injured for most of the following year, though the Magic did well despite his absence.

Los Angeles Lakers, and Life After Retirement
As a free agent, O’Neal signed with the Los Angeles Lakers, and the move proved successful for both him and the team. With the Lakers, he won three consecutive championships in partnership with Kobe Bryant. However, due to tension between the two players, he was traded to the Miami Heat, and won a championship with that team two years later. He subsequently played with the Suns, Cavaliers, and Celtics before deciding to retire.
During his career, he accumulated 15 All-Star game selections, and three NBA All-Defensive Team selections.
He won three Finals MVP awards, and an MVP season award, and two scoring titles. Following his retirement, he started to focus more on a television career, and became an analyst for NBA games, working alongside Charles Barkley, Ernie Johnson and Kenny Smith.
He’s also focused a lot of his efforts towards business, becoming a minority owner of the NBA team, the Sacramento Kings. He is also an investor for NRG Esports, and has appeared in commercials promoting the team as well as eSports in general.
He also owns a branch of Krispy Kreme, and is a spokesperson for the company. One of his latest investments is Papa John’s, recently joining the board of directors., and becoming a spokesperson in a three-year contract with the company.
Before Rolle’s relationship with O’Neal, he was previously married to Shaunie Nelson, and they have four children together. He filed for divorce in 2007 but the two reconciled. However, it was not enough as the two continued with their divorce in 2009.
He also had a relationship with reality personality Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander, and has a child from another relationship.
In 2014 he began his relationship with Rolle, and the two stayed together for four years. During the final year of their relationship, rumors started circulating that the two were engaged, due to Rolle wearing an expensive ring estimated to be worth around $5 million. In 2018, the two announced that they had ended their relationship.
