Early Life and Childhood

Bryan was born in 1982 in Mission Woods, Kansas, and is of American nationality and white ethnicity.

Upon completing his secondary education by matriculating from Shawnee Mission East High School in 2002, Sanders relocated to Waterville, Maine, where he attended one of the leading and most selective liberal arts colleges in the States – Colby College, from which he graduated in 2006 with his bachelor’s degree in political affairs.

Early Career

Bryan began his career within the Republican Party where at first he served as its political counselor.

To greater prominence, Sanders came in 2008 when he joined Mike Huckabee’s presidential election campaign. In 2009 Bryan became a member of the political media firm The Wickers Group, for which he served as the manager of the 2010 Robert J. Bentley’s gubernatorial campaign in Alabama.

Second Street Strategies

Alongside his spouse, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, in 2016 Bryan co-founded a political consulting firm named Second Street Strategies, for which he serves as its president ever since.

Her interest in politics dates back to her early age of 10, when alongside other family members, she contributed to her father’s 1992 US Senate campaign. However, her first ‘real’ engagement came in 2002 when she was named as a field co-ordinator during her father’s 2002 Governor of Arkansas re-election campaign. Sarah then joined the team of the 43^rd President of the US George W. Bush, serving as the US Department’s regional liaison for congressional affairs, and its field co-ordinator as well.

In 2008 she was appointed as the national political director of Mike Huckabee’s 2008 US Presidential campaign, while in 2012 she served as Tim Pawlenty’s senior adviser. Sarah also worked as an adviser to Tom Cotton in 2014, before she joined the political action committee Huck PAC as its executive director.

After the inauguration of Donald Trump as the United States’ 45^th president, Sarah Sanders was named as a deputy White House press secretary.

After Sean Spicer resigned in June 2017, she was appointed to the position of White House press secretary, which she held ’til the 1^st July 2019. Since August 2019, she serves as a contributor to Fox News.
